Taking cold showers in lieu of hot showers has extensive benefits from relieving depression to burning fat. It’s called “cold therapy” and despite its name it has been quite a hot topic recently.
Some of the list of benefits include:

30 Day Cold Shower Knockout Challenge
For 30 days take cold showers. You must stay in the shower for at least 2 full minutes without ever using hot water. In your two minutes you need to soap and shampoo in order to be done.
Here is what you can expect to happen. The first 10 days will suck. Days 11-through 20 your body will adapt and days 21 through 30 will be so benefit inducing that you will consider going past 30 days.
Why a Cold Shower Challenge?
When you start your day with a tough challenge you can get a big win early. You’ve only been out of bed for 15 minutes and you have already accomplished something difficult. It makes the rest of the day start feeling easy.
Willpower is like a muscle. The more you excersie that muscle the easier it gets. Cold showers are a bit like torture and it will require early morning will power to do it.
You train your brain to just knock out difficult tasks out without debating about them. At first you will stand next to the ice cold shower and ask yourself “what the hell am I doing?” “Is this really worth it?” What you’ figure out after a few days is that its best to just jump in and get it over with.
